Trader Garages
The Trader Garage is purpose designed for housing light commercial vehicles where the generous 3 metre eaves height is essential.
Available in two widths and in single, twin and multiple format the Trader is also ideal for secure storage, with access possible by most fork trucks.
Competitively priced, Trader combines durability with minimal maintenance requirements.
Specification
Walls
Interlocking precast concrete panels with an external 'Whitespar' applied aggregate finish. Manufactured to CP116 with a steel reinforcement to BS4449, these panels are non-combustible and satisfy the structural integrity and flame penetration requirements of BS476 for half an hour. Connecting bolts and other fittings and rust resistant with external bolt heads concealed and the vertical joints between panels incorporate a joining strip.
Roof
Coated profiled galvanised steel sheeting supported by galvanised steel purlins. The front and flank walls are trimmed at eaves level with coated galvanised steel fascias and patented galvanised steel flashings. Roof fall is from front to rear.
Vents
Two high level and low level vents are fitted as standard, in the rear
wall.

Doors
Manually operated sectional overhead door in primed metal with locking device - available on both Trader 30 and Trader 36 garages. On Trader 30 there is an alternative of side hung primed galvanised steel doors with hasp and staple device for padlock. No threshold is fitted to either type of door.
Rainwater Guttering
Black Vinyl half round guttering and down pipes are supplied as standard.
Accessories
TIMBER FRAMED OPENING: Available in the partition wall on twin or multiple units, a timber framed opening, centrally positioned and 2.204m (7' 2 3/4" wide x 2.779m (9' 1½" high).
Site Preparation
A flat and level concrete base with pockets is required. Please ask for base layout drawings.

Elevation drawings, suitable for submission to a Local Authority, are
available on request.
CONSTRUCTION: Trader Garages are constructed nationwide using company trained teams.
Merchant Garage
Similar to the Trader in general specification.
The same width and length dimensions of the Trader apply to this garage, but eaves height is reduced to 2.50m.
It is available in single or multiple units, in any combination of widths.
The door to each unit is double leaf, side hung on 2 pairs Hurlinges or butt hinges to each leaf, outward opening, vertically profiled galvanised steel in a galvanised steel frame, finished in a low gloss, beige colour, vinyl primer suitable for further decorating.
Locking furniture is a lever handle operated latch with a Eurolock cylinder operated mortice deadlock, 2 keys per lock. Crompton 10/10 restraints are fitted as standard at the head to hold door leaves open at 90° to the front elevation. Clear "drive-through" opening dimensions are 2.215m high x 2.190m wide. Opening dimensions are increased marginally when the restrainers are removed and the doors opened beyond 90°.
