Specification
Walls
Interlocking precast concrete panels with an applied aggregate finish
externally. Manufactured to CP116 with a steel reinforcement to BS4449,
these panels are non-combustible and satisfy the structural integrity
and flame penetration requirements of BS476 Part 1 1953 for half an
hour. Connecting bolts and other fittings and rust resistant with
external bolt heads concealed and the joints between panels sealed with
mastic.
Roof
Fibre reinforced cement sheeting 152mm (6") profile supported by
steel purlins in accordance with BS690. As an alternative, plastic
coated, box profile steel sheeting can be specified if required, with or
without ant condensation coating (factory applied) to underside
face.
Doors
Spring operated up and over doors, fully retracted when open, complete
with external and internal handles. Various profiles available in primed
Galvasteel or Cedar. All doors are supplied with a locking handle and
will soon be available with Eurolock fitted as standard.
Finishes
Applied aggregate finish in a choice of 'Sparlite', 'Buff Quartz', 'Whitespar',
or 'Brownstone' as standard. Other finishes are available for contract
work - please ask for details.

Accessories
WINDOWS: Aluminium framed window with white polyester finish, incorporating full
width opening fanlight, gasket glazed prior to delivery. Size 851mm high
x 813mm wide (2' 9½" x 2' 8") overall.
PERSONAL DOORS:
Galvanised steel door, soon available vertically profiled as standard
with security Eurolock, set in a steel frame and primed ready for
painting. Operation is outward opening, left or right hung, viewed from
outside. Size 1.981m high x 813mm wide (6' 6" x 2' 8")
overall.
Alternatively, a Western Red Cedarwood door, part glazed is available. Size 1.981m high x 813mm wide (6' 6" x 2' 8")
overall, supplied
with lock, handle and glass.
Site Preparation
A flat and level concrete base (with steps when necessary) is required.
Please ask for base layout drawings showing pocket details for gale
posts.
Services
PLANS:
Elevation drawings, suitable for submission to a Local Authority, are
available on request.
CONSTRUCTION: System Garages are constructed nationwide using company trained teams.
If assistance is required with planning a System Garage layout, we
will be pleased to arrange for our Area Sales Manager to call by
appointment.
System 9F
This Garage will accommodate wider vehicles and offer improved access
where space is limited. Internal width is 9' 4" with a door opening
width of 8' 10". System 9F and 8F share the same specification in
other respects and can be built in any combination within a block of
multiple units.
Further details are available on request. Also available are System 8R
and 9R garages.
These units have rearward sloping roofs draining into half round,
external guttering and downpipes (Black PVC-u). Overall length
dimensions are slightly different from the 8F and 9F garages and the 9R
door is available in 6' 6" x 7' 6" dimension only.
8R and 9R can be built alongside each other, but not within the same
multiple block.
Steps
Steps of 152mm (6") can be incorporated in blocks of two or more
garages
- left or right handed to suit site.
