ECONOMY GARAGES

Leofric Economy garages are versatile highly competitive, designed to be virtually maintenance free and available in a choice of aggregate finishes to harmonise with the immediate environment.

Where co-ordination with surrounding materials is essential, wall ties can be incorporated for cladding of flank and rear walls with brick or stonework.

Rainwater goods to rear or front draining roof are fitted as standard. Galvanised steel bargeboards are fitted as standard to weather the roof and wall junction. These are maintenance-free, colour coated dark brown to provide a neat trim appearance at high level and are intentionally close fitting, rigid and shallow to deter vandals.

Simple foundations and rapid on-site construction make Leofric Economy Garages a fast and reliable addition to any development.

Specification

Walls

Interlocking precast concrete panels with an applied aggregate finish externally. Manufactured to CP116 with a steel reinforcement to BS4449, these panels are non-combustible and satisfy the structural integrity and flame penetration requirements of BS476 Part 1 1953 for half an hour. Connecting bolts and other fittings and rust resistant with external bolt heads concealed and the joints between panels sealed with mastic.

Roof

Full length galvanised steel sheeting, 75mm (3") profile supported by steel purlins. As an alternative, plastic coated, box profile steel sheeting can be specified if required, with or without anti-condensation coating (factory applied) to the under face. Roof sheeting is weathered and trimmed to walls with colour coated galvanised steel bargeboards.

Doors

Horizontal profile, galvanised steel spring operated up -and-over doors, fully weather-stripped at sides when closed, fully retracted when open. Each door is supplied with internal and external handles and is complete with lock and two keys.

Rainwater Disposal

PVC-u gutters and downpipes to rear or front, depending on direction of roof slope chosen.

Steps
Steps of 152mm (6") can be incorporated in blocks of two or more garages - left or right handed to suit site

Finishes

Applied aggregate finish in a choice of 'Sparlite', 'Buff Quartz', 'Whitespar', or 'Brownstone' as standard.

Accessories

WINDOWS: Aluminium framed window with white polyester finish, incorporating full width opening fanlight, gasket glazed prior to delivery. Size 851mm high x 813mm wide (2' 9½" x 2' 8") overall.
PERSONAL DOORS: Galvasteel doors, complete with lever latch door handle and rim mortise lock, set in a steel framed and primed ready for painting. Operation is outward opening, left or right hand hung, viewed from outside. Size 1.981m high x 813mm wide (6' 6" x 2' 8") overall.

Site Preparation

A flat and level concrete base (with steps when necessary) is required. Please ask for base layout drawings showing pocket details for gale posts.

Services

PLANS: Elevation drawings, suitable for submission to a Local Authority, are available on request.
CONSTRUCTION: Leofric Economy Garages are constructed nationwide using company trained teams.
